Pierre d’Ambre, Côtes du Rhône blanc 2016

An atypical white of the Southern Rhone Valley:
golden color, complex nose evoking quince paste, dried apricots, baked apple; round on the palate with a mineral touch on the finish.

This wine comes from a parcel of land with four different grape varieties: Grenache, Viognier, Clairette and Roussanne. An unusual Cotes-du-Rhone, rounded with aromas of baked apples and almonds.  It accompanies dishes like cheese souffle, braised veal, blue stilton and fruit tart.
